Follow your dreams: an adventure from Alaska to Argentina

No Risk, No Life is an inspiring story of Ben Valks, who pursues his non-business dreams. His story begins in Alaska, where he was the first Dutchman to participate in the Iditarod, the 1800 km long dog sled race.
Sixteen dogs, a sled and a man in a struggle with nature and himself. Then he continues on a motorbike on all but trodden paths from Alaska to Argentina: over the most remote mountain passes, along the longest river and through the Amazon on the 'death road' for motorcyclists. In Brazil, he makes a long stopover for a nerve-racking search for the black jaguar, the most elusive cat on earth.

Along the way he is invited into the orphanage for disabled people in Guatemala, Obras Sociales del Santo Hermano Pedro. His wish to ever give something back to them who are in need, is granted by donating the income of this book to them.

No Risk, No Life is a compelling and humorous tale about realizing dreams. To live life to the fullest by getting out of your comfort zone, to overcome setbacks, have confidence in oneself and offer and accept help in the strangest places.

Both Ben & Brenda donate their book-royalties to Obras Sociales del Santo Hermano Pedro.
